Relax and recharge at Kershaw Gardens in Rockhampton. Beautiful and tranquil, this natural space has become a very popular local attraction.
Man made features combine with the natural landscapes to create an incredible tropical space that’s perfect for a peaceful walk or a family picnic.
In the heart of Rockhampton, the gardens feature a magnificent waterfall and a network of adventure play areas for children.
The gardens were hit hard by Cyclone Marcia in February 2015 but have recovered and bounced back more vibrant than ever.
There’s also spaces for self contained RV’s and Caravans at the back of the gardens to stay.
It’s a paradise for photographers with a wealth of flowers, leafy tropical plants and trees, birds, butterflies, the waterfall and of course fantastic sunrise and sunset opportunities.
Whether it’s a lazy afternoon walk, a relaxed family picnic or just a nap in the warm sunshine, Kershaw Park is an oasis of tranquility in the heart of Rockhampton so keep it in mind on your travels.
